In 2010 NC will smoke only fire safe cigarettes

As it was sustained, North Carolina wrote its name in the list of states that choose to smoke exclusively fire safe cigarettes, at least government of the state so decided. This bill was signed and came into legal force in August 24.Governemnt believes that beginning with January, 2010 only fire safe cigarettes will be presented on tobacco market of the state.

Who inspires launching of this bill? You don’t believe- the fire brigade. This idea was offered and accepted by the government as way to protect the citizens, their homes and their lives.

It is expected that this bill will prove constructive results. More than 20 states already have accepted this law. This law is needed for safety of people, as annually many home fire fatalities are registered not only in the US, but around the world too. There are a lot of causes when fire results from not extinguished cigarette, which causes not only financial damages, but human deaths too. That is why N.C. fire chiefs association encourages this bill. Fire safe cigarette can save many senseless lives.

What fire safe cigarettes means? These cigarettes have a special construction and components that assure self-extinguish if left unattended. Although, it has not 100% guarantee. It still persists risk of get fired, but this risk is lower.

This seems to be a good idea. Although, one question appears inevitably: “Will be any difference of taste and of course of cost for fire-safe cigs?”

As it was settled, safe cigarettes would have the same taste and the same price. Of course, firemen will have much less labor to do. It is not discussed the question of number of lives which new product can save!
