Police again confirmed the fact that every breach at definite time come at definite end. Even if it is on wheels or in pocket, legal forces will put end on it.
An example of police victory on wheels was registered recently on the N1 highway near Edenburg south of Bloemfontein. After stopping a suspicious-looking vehicle police clutched an illegal shipment of cigarettes that cost about R250 000. As it was sustained this case occurred on Monday, May 21, 2007 and was investigated by inspector Harry Nagel members from the Edenburg police station.
Harry Nagel said that everything was tracked down after he had stopped the track and began a simple exploration of car. At the end, in track that weight one-ton was found 25 boxes containing 50 cartons each of illegal cigarettes.
“These cigarettes were imported from overseas without the necessary certificates," said Nagel.
The definite local from where were imported tobacco products is known, but, as police said, police arrested one person. This person is accused of possession of illegal cigarettes and bribery.
The suspect was expected to appear in the Edenburg magistrate's court soon.
Illegal transport of any types of products isn’t new for police. It is one of most practiced by those that don’t want to respect the law. Thing that can persuade is that if there is a beginning , then it must be an end to everything.
